LONDON - Aquascutum's backstage is bustling with models getting their hair and makeup done. Makeup Artist Lucia Pieroni says, "We wanted to create a little kitten, which is, it's not quite a cat eye because it doesn't have a little flick." She says it's more square and even a little Japanese. She tops it with mascara and a blemish-free face, recommending a good skin regimen with face cleaning and using good products for the ultimate clear skin. "Less is more," she says, "Treat your skin very gently and lightly and it will reward you."
Anthony Turner is the hairstylist backstage. He was inspired by a lot of the military shapes that are running through the collection, so he wanted to capture an androgynous feel to the hair with Toni & Guy volume plumping mousse and blow drying that in. He pushes the sides back with gel on his hands. "She's a girl that means business," he says of the Aquascutum girl, "She's strong, uber-confident. Yeah, she's no wilting flower."
